Teleios is a biblical word meaning complete or made whole. Scripture tells us that every person is intentionally created by God, fully known by Him, and deeply loved. While each of us has unique needs and abilities, our worth is not defined by them—it’s grounded in being made in God’s image and redeemed in Christ.
At Pleasant Valley, we believe God forms His people toward wholeness not by erasing differences, but by drawing each person into deeper belonging, faith, and purpose within the body of Christ. In Christ, all are fully known and fully loved—and that’s why Teleios exists.
Our vision at PVCC is to saturate Owensboro and engage the nations with the glory and knowledge of the Lord so we want to be a lighthouse and a safe harbor for families doing the beautiful work of raising children with disabilities.
To families touched by disability: You are seen. You are loved. And you have a place here.

The Bridge Class is a welcoming, supportive environment designed for teens and adults with special needs to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and experience a sense of belonging. This class focuses on sharing God’s love through engaging lessons, interactive activities, and compassionate community.
Participants are encouraged to learn at their own pace while exploring biblical truths in ways that are accessible, relevant, and uplifting. The Bridge Class also provides opportunities for friendship, fellowship, and personal connection, creating a space where everyone is valued and included.
Whether through music, discussion, or hands-on activities, our goal is to “bridge” each individual to a deeper understanding of God’s Word and a stronger connection with others. Families can feel confident knowing their loved ones are cared for, encouraged, and celebrated just as they are
