Deacon Ordination

Sunday evening we ordained 14 men as new Deacons at Pleasant Valley, formally
setting them aside as servant-leaders to assist the elders of the church in the work
of ministry.

Student Ministry

This week Matt Bristow began serving as the interim Director of Student Ministries.

Hope Sunday

Sunday morning we continued our walk through the book of James, examining James’
call to pray for the sick and afflicted.  At the end of each service, we had a time for
everyone who is suffering to come forward so that the elders of the church could lay
hands on them and pray for healing.

PVCC Prom

Our annual PVCC prom was a blast on Saturday and helped raise money for students
and children to go to summer camp.
